Illogical Conflict

You can love someone and hate the choices that they have made.

This conflict is illogical. It is a purely human trait.

So, yesterday’s repeat of the failed 7k with drills was brutal, unforgiving and outstanding. What I failed to mention, or had completely forgotten was that at the end of the 5 x 1km race pace intervals, there was a sting in the tail in the form of 3 x 200 meter sprints at a ‘controlled pace’.

And 7k turned into 9.5 just like that.

Still, I did it. And it felt epic
